I'm falling so behind in my blog posts, I have no idea how I'm going to update it anymore! So I just don't.. ^^'' But I reckon since I have time now, I'll just condense two entries into one =) This will hopefully be more of a photoblog and less text so I can be lazy!

First off, Vivid Sydney 2010 has ended. I remember the event from last year, where icie and I went scouting around city, looking at the different artistic creations on two separate nights. It was raining quite heavily during one of the nights and a few of the light decorations were broken, but otherwise, it was a really fun experience. This year, there seemed to be a lot less work put into the lightings- most were just photos or images projected onto buildings.

I know, I haven't blogged in over a week. Was planning to do the vegetarian yum cha a few days back, but was too caught up watching this drama called Maou. It was so good, I would have finished it in one sitting, but I had to go to work. Then it stayed in my mind till I got back home to finish it. And when I did finish it, I rewatched the ending a couple of times again.

Madara-san actually burnt the first few episodes and gave it to me via icie, and I've only met her once! It was so nice of her. Thank you so much, Madara-san~ I'll try to burn the yamapi one soon, though my burner has been playing up recently.

Another long day at placement.. =| truth be told, I used to get really excited about it, but I'm starting to feel it's more like a job now than something I'm passionate about. Not good... Doesn't help that icie left his alarm clock ringing like crazy (he never turns the damn thing off because he never wakes up), annoying the hell out of me at 6am this morning. I swear, that alarm clock will be flying out the window very soon if he doesn't turn it off in the morning. =_= *Grouchy*

On a slightly lighter note, just had a big breakfast and some wonderful coffee, beautifully made too, so the gloomy day doesn't seem quite as dark as it really is. Cold and rainy, how lovely. =(

It's been a week since the Iron Chef dinner, and about time the blog entry went up. Problem is, it's been so cold these few days (imagine, it's only the second week of winter... every night has been below 10 degrees) that the mere thought of spending an hour or two, out in the living room where my computer is, away from the heater that's in my room... it's so torturous that I haven't gotten around to blogging at all. If I had the chance of staying in my room, sitting in front of the heater and hibernating the rest of winter away sleeping, I would take it.

Unless, of course, it's to see the Iron Chefs or something. Then I might consider dragging my sorry self away from the heater and withstand the dreadful cold out there. Actually, hang on a moment while I get myself a hot cup of Earl Grey tea...

This is what a real breakfast looks like! Having placement in about half an hour. Didn't have a proper dinner last night and am feeling famished, so decided to drop by Tokyo Mario for some breakfast and coffee. I'm officially a fan of their breakfast sets, even though there's only 3. They're all good!

Now I have energy to sing for those kids at placement..

Iron chef dinner tonight!

Sitting at M, having a chocolate sundae. It must have been at least a year or two since I had one of there. This morning, I left the house fairly early to catch the bus. Waited about 10 minutes- the bus was late. Reached into my bag to check the time.. and realised I left my phone at home. So I raced back to my house, and the bus left. It only takes less than a minute for me to get back to my house! The bus just had to come at that particular minute..

Anyway, went back home because the next bus would be another hour or so, which meant I'd be late to church.. =_= stupid sydney transport... At least I managed to get some improvising practice done on the piano during that time, but really, of all times to come, it just had to come at the particular minute.. And I was waiting in the cold for so long before that, not to mention getting up early T T

Ok, enough whining. Just had a sundae and everything's fine. It's really not hard to see things optimistically when there's food available, especially ice cream. Finished my placement notes too, yay. Now I just need to go to work, with another hour to waste, cos it starts at 2.

(... Stupid Sydney transport... =_= i need to get myself a car...)

Where to start!!! I'm so behind on my blog entries, it's all accumulating... and soon I won't even be able to remember where I took the photos, or even where I went.. or what food I ate...

So here I am, relaxing because uni's finished. Should really be doing my placement notes, but hey, gotta have a break. My sister's coming back pretty soon, less than a month I think, and she's planning this big photoshoot for herself and her fiance. At the current moment, I cannot imagine a photoshoot in Sydney, with all that heavy rain and chilling winds. Today was absolutely crazy- if I hadn't worn boots and didn't have the clear umbrella that covers the complete top half of me, face and all, I'd be feeling like a drenched chicken. (Note: it's days like today that I feel... even though that umbrella looks weird, it's the best thing I've ever bought, haha.)

I shall start with this:

Yesterday's breakfast. Today's one is just coffee, but yesterday's was chicken avocado sandwich with the new entertainment book. Was actually inspired to get it by YW, so thank you~ your site is a great place to get recommendations to restaurants, especially those around city! =)

With the card, it's 25% off at Assiette any day, any time for a year! It's the place with $35 lunch special on Fridays, 3 course meal (~$27 if you go with me =P or anyone with a gold card). The menu changes every week too, except the place is almost always full, so you have to book.

Anyway, enough unpaid advertising! On my way to uni.. It's the last week for this semester, yayyy. Got heaps to blog about when I get to sit down and do a proper entry, and more photos to upload, so that'll be next time!
